Come utilizzare Generatore Etichetta Nutrizionale

Scegli il formato etichetta (US o EU)

Inserisci dimensione porzione e nome prodotto

Tutti i calcoli vengono aggiornati in tempo reale.

Compila i gruppi di nutrienti

Inserisci i valori per Energia, Grassi (totali, saturi, trans, polinsaturi, monoinsaturi), Colesterolo, Sodio, Carboidrati (totali, fibre, zuccheri totali, zuccheri aggiunti), Proteine e Micronutrienti (Vitamina D, Calcio, Ferro, Potassio). I campi opzionali possono rimanere a zero.

Visualizza, stampa o copia l'etichetta

Ricordatelo quando confronti etichette EU e US.

Domande frequenti

What are the Daily Value (DV) percentages used by the FDA in 2020?

Daily Reference Intake values updated in 2020 are: Total fat 78g, Saturated fat 20g, Cholesterol 300mg, Sodium 2300mg, Total carbohydrates 275g, Dietary fibre 28g, Added sugars 50g, Vitamin D 20mcg, Calcium 1300mg, Iron 18mg, Potassium 4700mg. These replace the previous Daily Values based on a 2000 kcal diet.

What is the difference between US and EU formats?

US (FDA Nutrition Facts) shows values per serving and % DV for each nutrient. EU (Reg. CE 1169/2011) requires a table with values for 100g and optionally for serving, without mandatory % DV. The order of nutrients differs: the EU lists energy (kJ and kcal), fats, saturated fatty acids, carbohydrates, sugars, proteins, and salt (not sodium).

How is salt calculated for the EU label?

Salt (NaCl), not Sodium. Conversion formula: Salt (g) = Sodium (mg) × 2.5 / 1000. For example, 200mg of sodium corresponds to 0.5g of salt. This tool automatically shows the Salt in EU label and the Sodium in US label.

What are added sugars vs total sugars?

Total sugars include both naturally occurring sugars (fructose in fruit, lactose in milk) and added sugars during production. Added Sugars are sucrose, high fructose corn syrup, honey, concentrated fruit juices, and other heat-generated sweeteners. The FDA requires separate labeling of added sugars since 2020.

When is the % DV considered high or low?

According to FDA guidelines: 5% DV or less is considered LOW for that nutrient; 20% DV or more is considered HIGH. Limit nutrients: saturated fats, sodium, added sugars. Prioritize nutrients: fiber, vitamin D, calcium, iron, potassium. A colored traffic light icon in this label visually highlights critical values.
