Pricing: what it costs, and how much
Everything I can do for you, with the price next to it. What you buy straight away has an exact figure; custom projects have a floor, because the quote depends on what you actually need.
How to read this price list
- Prices are exclusive of VAT and of any applicable taxes. The exact amount, including applicable taxes, is shown in the summary before payment and on the invoice.
- The figures for custom projects are thresholds, not quotes: the precise quote comes after the free discovery call, once the scope is clear to both of us.
- This price list is valid until further notice. If you are reading a cached version, the latest one is always on this page.
Fixed price, you buy it right away
These figures are what you pay. No negotiation, no mandatory call first: you choose, you pay and you start.

Technical consulting by the hour
For developers and teams who need to unblock a decision, not start a project.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|

| Second opinion on someone else's quoteYou have a quote or an architecture proposed by another supplier and no way to judge it. I read it and write back what holds up, what is oversized and what is missing.I have not delivered this to anyone yet and I cannot quantify savings obtained by clients: what you buy is a reasoned opinion, not a guaranteed outcome. |

| Full-stack production readiness auditA complete technical analysis of your product — architecture, performance and Core Web Vitals, security, on-prem AI where present — with a report of the problems found in order of priority. The reference price is €2,000. Custom projects: starting from
You will not find a closed price here, and that is not evasiveness: two back-office tools with the same name can cost twice as much as one another. The figures below are the minimum thresholds; the precise quote comes after the free discovery call.
Custom software projects
The thresholds below which a project does not start. The real quote comes after the free discovery call, on the actual scope.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| MVP to validate an ideaYou have an idea and you don't know whether the market wants it. Before investing in a final system you need an answer made of usage data, not a mockup. |
| from €16,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Custom management software for your SMEYour processes live in spreadsheets and in software that does not follow the way you work, and a generic ERP costs too much and forces you to change habits.I have not yet delivered it to an external SME. That is why, on the first management system for an external client, I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed in discovery. |
| from €13,500per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| An iOS and Android app for your serviceYour users live on their phone and a site opened in a browser is not enough: you need an app in the stores, one that sends notifications and keeps working when the network drops. The mobile app lives inside a product of my own: I have not yet delivered one as a mobile project for an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed in discovery. |
| from €21,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| A web app with AI that stays in-houseYou want to use AI on your documents and data, but you cannot send them to an external cloud service. There is no external client here yet either: on the first project I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed in discovery. |
| from €24,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Additional module for the back-office toolThe back-office tool starts from a core and grows in modules: inventory, jobs, e-invoicing, supplier portal. They are added one at a time, when they are actually needed. |
| from €2,500per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Scoped project on a Statement of WorkThe rung between the one-off audit and the ongoing retainer: an intervention with a written scope, an upfront deposit and milestone payments. No Statement of Work project has been signed with an external client yet: the work already delivered to third parties did not go through this contract. |
| from €5,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Websites and platforms
From the brochure site that actually gets found to the vertical platform. This is where the one item in the price list with an already delivered external client sits.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multilingual brochure site, fast and indexableThe website of a business or of a holiday property: pages that search engines actually read, several languages, a gallery, a contact or booking form. The proof Casa delle Magnolie, a holiday home in Gallipoli: a site delivered end to end and online, in four languages, with gallery, calendar and booking. Open it and checkThat project is from 2025 and runs on a hosting setup different from the one I would use today: I am telling you because if you open it and look at the response times, you are not looking at my current stack. |
| from €1,600per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Multi-page site with measured technical SEOFifteen to twenty pages with a real information architecture, structured data, sitemap and Core Web Vitals measured before and after. Not a bigger site: a site that gets found. |
| from €4,400per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Platform for an association or non-profitOnline membership with payment, a members-only area, event management: association life that stops living on paper forms and spreadsheets. The proof OnStage APS, Botrugno: a platform in production with online membership, members' area, event management and community features. The repo does not state whether that collaboration was paid work, so I do not present it as a paid commission. And the price depends too much on the bylaws and the membership rules to put one in a price list. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Till and kitchen display for food eventsOrdering from the phone or the till, payment, a receipt with a QR code on a thermal printer, a preparation display, live stock and a report at the end of the night. The system exists, it is built for a real festival and it drives the thermal printer at a low level, but it has not been through a real event yet: until that happens I cannot tell you it held up under a real load. The price depends on the number of stands, on the hardware and on being there in person, which has to be priced. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Integration, infrastructure and maintenance
What happens around the software: making it talk to the rest, keeping it up, carrying it forward after release.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Making the systems you already have talk to each otherBack-office tool, e-commerce, accounting and CRM exchanging data on their own, instead of being realigned by hand every week. Without replacing anything. This is where my proof is missing: I have built integrations inside my own systems, not between a client's systems. A fixed price on an integration whose endpoints I have not seen would be a free option handed to you and a risk dumped on me: it starts from a time-and-materials analysis. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Setting up and looking after the production environmentServer, reverse proxy, certificates, backups and a repeatable release procedure that anyone on your team can run without being scared.I run my own infrastructure, not a client's yet. And for honesty: on my server the database backups are not active, by a deliberate choice of mine. On your environment they would be the first requirement, not an option. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Phase zero of a legacy migrationBefore touching a dated system you measure what it actually does: an inventory of features, dependencies, data, risks. Without this phase, any quote is an invented number.I have never run a legacy migration: all of my work started from scratch. I can do this phase because it is analysis, but on a full migration I am not the safest choice you have, and I am telling you before you ask. |
| from €4,500per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| First modernisation phaseThe first block of features moved onto the new stack, with identical business logic, regression tests and a period where both systems run in parallel. No legacy migration on my record, and on a system that keeps your company running that counts. If you are looking for someone who has done it ten times, that is not me: judge me only after phase zero, once you have seen how I reason about your system. |
| from €28,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Maintenance on a monthly fee after releaseAfter delivery somebody has to keep looking at it: security updates, fixes, small improvements, and a number to call when it breaks.I have maintained my own systems for years, but no client pays me to maintain theirs yet: it is a different thing, above all in response times, and it has to be said. |
| from €390per month | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Data, dashboards and research
From the numbers you already have in-house to datasets built to order, all the way to studies with a stated method.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot dashboard on a single processOne dashboard on a chosen process, fed by the data you already have, to find out whether it is genuinely useful before building ten of them.I can do it and I will show you on my own code, but I have not yet delivered it to an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed during discovery. |
| from €5,400per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Full company reporting, in your own houseA single view of the company's numbers, with the data staying on your servers: several sources, per-role permissions, automatic refresh, exports.I can do it and I will show you on my own code, but I have not yet delivered it to an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed during discovery. |
| from €16,000per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| A dataset built on the topic you needCollection from sources with a compatible licence, cleaning, normalisation, validation and documentation of the method: a dataset somebody else can verify.I can do it and I will show you on my own code, but I have not yet delivered it to an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed during discovery. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Usage licence for a published datasetUse one of the curated datasets inside your own product or analysis, with updates for the whole duration of the licence. This price is not anchored to any market data: for small-scale independent datasets no public reference price list exists. It is a proposal, and I treat it as one. |
| from €149per year | See the details |
| Original study with a publishable methodologyResearch on a topic in your sector, with a stated method and reproducible data: the kind of content others cite instead of ignoring. No study has been commissioned to me by a third party yet. And one clarification: I can make the study citable through a deposit with a persistent identifier, not publish it on academic archives. |
| On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Specialist consulting
Scoped work on a single topic. They all start from the same threshold because they have the same shape: analysis, report, recommendations.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and visibility to assistantsIndexing, structured data, perceived speed and how readable your site is to the assistants that now answer instead of the search engine. Measured before and after.Every result I can show you is on my own site, not on a client's: I took the score from 59 to 88 and the pages index where I want them, but it is my own house. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Application security and automated pipeline checksA review of your application's security posture and the introduction of the checks that keep it over time, instead of a one-off assessment that ages in a month. No external client and no security certification. And an example from the right side of honesty: on my own system the AI service has neither its own token verification nor its own rate limit, both delegated to the gateway. It is a trade-off I know about and have written down — exactly the kind of thing you would come to me looking for. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Feasibility study for AI on your data, in your own houseIt answers one question only: is AI on your documents, without sending them out, feasible — with what hardware, what answer quality and what monthly cost.No external clients. The system I use to show you how it works is mine, but it is not on-prem for generation: semantic search runs on my server, the text is generated by OpenRouter (free plan). Prompts are not used to train the models; retention by the provider is not ruled out and data may leave the European Union. The on-prem measurements I can cite are those of 2026-08-03, when Ollama ran locally. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility checkA list of your application's non-conformities, in order of severity, with how each one is fixed. Not a tick box: a list of things to do.No accessibility audit has been commissioned to me by a third party and I hold no professional certification in the field: if you need a statement with legal value, that takes an accredited body, not me. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Review of a machine learning pipelineIf the model works beautifully in testing and badly in production, the problem is usually in the validation. Metrics, bias and information leaking from the data all get checked. The pipelines I can show you are five training project works on public datasets, not client commissions, and my own path on this topic is recent. I would rather tell you myself. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Architecture review with a reportA read of an existing or proposed architecture, closed by a written document: what risks you are running, what alternatives exist and why I recommend one of them.I can do it and I will show you on my own code, but I have not yet delivered it to an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed during discovery. | from €1,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Ongoing engagements and projects on a written scope
Recurring presence instead of a one-off intervention. They always start after a call, never with a direct purchase.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advisory retainer: a tech lead for a few hours a weekYou have a team writing code but nobody validating the architectural decisions over time. Recurring, light-touch technical presence, without hiring a full-time senior. It does not activate by itself: it always starts from a free discovery call where scope, hours and cadence are defined. The final amount depends on those. |
| from €2,000per month | See the details |
| 1:1 mentoring retainerA monthly growth path with goals, milestones and review of your real code. Not a recorded course: personalised feedback month after month. It starts with a free orientation call to understand your goal and starting level: the cadence, and therefore the price, is agreed there. |
| from €149per month | See the details |
| Recurring code review on your team's codeA periodic review with a written report: risks, the debt that is building up, what is worth fixing now. It is not architectural advisory and it is not development.I have not delivered it to an external team yet: today it is a component of individual mentoring, not a service sold on its own to a company. |
| from €290per month | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Support for your thesis or final projectA path over several months on method, technical choices, code and writing. With one stated limit: the work is yours, I tell you where you are going wrong.I have not supported any external student through a thesis yet. And the boundary stays written down: I do not hand in the work for you, under no circumstances and for no amount. |
| from €149per month | Let's discuss it in discovery |
In-company training
Workshops on your team's own code, with a deliverable that stays after the classroom. Scope and date are agreed in discovery.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| In-company workshop, 8-hour formatOne day on your team's own code: Angular SSR and Core Web Vitals, domain modeling for regulated sectors, or AI agents in the development workflow.Corporate training is not bought from the site: scope, number of participants and date are agreed in discovery, and the price is settled there. |
| from €2,500per edition | See the details |
| In-company workshop, 16-hour formatTwo days on a structural change: production Clean Architecture with Spring Boot, on-prem AI engineering, or DevSecOps and hardening.Same as the 8-hour format: the price is a threshold and is settled in discovery, on the real scope and the number of participants. |
| from €5,000per edition | See the details |
| A training path designed around your needsWhen none of the catalogue modules fits: you start from the team's problem, write the agenda and decide what has to stay in the hands of whoever attends.I can do it and I will show you on my own code, but I have not yet delivered it to an external client. On the first one I offer favourable terms in exchange for a reference, to be agreed during discovery. | from €2,500per edition | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Content and documentation
Technical writing by someone who could also build the system: it shows in the parts where ordinary documentation stops.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical product documentationGetting-started guides, operating manuals and runbooks written by someone who could also build the system: the difference shows in the parts where ordinary documentation stops. All the documentation I can show you is on my own projects or on open source: no external client has paid me to write any yet. |
| from €65per hour | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| API documentationThe API contract, examples that actually work when copied, errors documented one by one. It costs more than ordinary documentation because it requires reading the code. The APIs I have documented are my own. No external documentation engagement appears on my record. |
| from €85per hour | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Technical articles for your company blogPieces that answer the question immediately and then explain the trade-offs, written to be found by search engines and cited by assistants. Unsigned, if you prefer. The articles I have written are all on my own site and I do not publish traffic data: I therefore cannot promise audience results, only the way they are written. |
| from €390per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Design of a training pathGoals, prerequisites, agenda, exercises and lesson scripts: the path designed, which whoever you want can then deliver. No path designed for a client, and no video shot or published yet: what I can show you are the programmes of my own modules. | from €480per edition | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Channel, partnerships and licences
Collaborations instead of commissions: agencies subcontracting, referrals, sponsored space, tools licensed out.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsored space on the site and newsletterSpace served directly by the site, with no third-party ad networks, inside technical content read by developers.I do not publish audience numbers because I have none that are verifiable to show you, and you would be buying an audience, not pages. Until I have those numbers the space is agreed case by case: it is not a price list, it is an honest negotiation. | On request | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Affiliate mention inside the contentA product mentioned inside relevant technical content, always declared as affiliate. No products I would not use myself. As above, no audience numbers to show. And declaring the affiliation is not negotiable: it is a requirement, not an option. | On request | Let's discuss it in discovery | |
| Development subcontracted for agenciesBackend, APIs, migrations, performance and in-house AI delivered on your behalf: the relationship with the end client stays yours, my name does not appear unless you want it to.No partner agency is active yet: the channel exists as infrastructure, not as a running relationship. The day rate is agreed on the type of work and on continuity. | On request | See the details | |
| Referring a clientIf you refer somebody and that referral turns into an engagement, I pay you a share of the revenue for an agreed period. It is not a cost for you: it is income. The percentage and the duration are in the written terms of the programme. No referral has arrived yet and no fee has been paid. | On request | See the details | |
| One of my tools under your brandCalculators, generators and validators that are already built, licensed under your brand and on your domain, embedded in your site if you want.I have never licensed it to anyone and a template contract does not exist yet: we write the first agreement together. |

Public speaking
Talks at conferences, meetups and company events on one of the technical pillars.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| A technical talk at an eventA talk on one of the pillars — backend, frontend, career paths — built on real cases and on the trade-offs taken, not on generic slides.I have not given documented public talks yet, nor published recordings. For community meetups and conferences the fee is not the point: write to me and we will talk. | On request | Let's discuss it in discovery |
Signature offers
These carry a full price rather than a threshold, because they are not compared against a generic alternative: each one rests on something you can open, run or re-measure yourself before paying me. The proof is written next to the item.
Signature offers
Twelve services resting on something you can verify before paying me: an identifier you resolve in your browser, a number you re-measure with one command, a system in production I show you.
| Item | What is included | Price | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citable in thirty daysYour software and your data exist, but nobody can cite them. In a month they become a permanent record with an identifier that will still resolve ten years from now.The proof Ten identifiers already published and resolvable by anyone, with thirteen versions and three assets taken to 1.1.0 without breaking the existing links. Open one before deciding. Open it and checkThis method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |
| €4,900per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Your repository's operating systemThe senior left and the context left with them. I put back into the repository the information that today lives in somebody's head: conventions, traps, procedures, in a form a new human — or an agent — can follow alone. The proof The documentation layer was measured double-blind: three cold agents ran three procedures using only the repository documentation, and found on their own the three traps that had cost time in the past. This method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |
| €9,800per projectplus €900 per month | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Hunting the false greenThe pipeline is green and production breaks anyway. I count how many tests you declare, how many actually run and how many are silently excluded, and I tell you where the suite is lying to you.The proof The «false green» case — a suite reporting zero executed tests while staying green — is documented and reproduced in two public archives with permanent identifiers. Open it and checkThis method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |
| €4,400per project | Let's discuss it in discovery |
| Before the assistant answersMore and more people read an assistant's answer instead of opening your site. I make your content readable and citable by those assistants, and then measure whether you actually get cited. The proof Across 194 articles, from 741 structural findings down to zero, with a measurement anyone can re-run with a single command. The benchmark archive is public and has a permanent identifier. Open it and checkThis method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

| Your data never leaves the buildingYou want AI on your documents but the data protection officer says no, and they are right. A pilot with the model running on your hardware: no document leaves your network. The proof Measured on 2026-08-03 on my server, when generation ran locally with Ollama: 5.7-7.2 seconds for a short answer, CPU only (three single measurements, not a benchmark). The site no longer works that way: retrieval stays local, but generation goes through OpenRouter, so I cannot show you the pilot in production. The public LocalMind project (AGPL licence, beta) is designed to use Ollama locally. This method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

| One person, in productionYou have a system up and nobody to look after it, because the previous supplier disappeared. I take it over: I work out what it does, I document it and then I look after it.The proof I keep three microservices, a relational database, a cache, a reverse proxy and a local language model in production — alone, with six operational runbooks and the documented choice of having no automated release. One uncovered point I would rather tell you: I have not yet documented a complete restore exercise on my own system. On yours it would be the first thing we do, before signing any monitoring agreement. |

| From the stage to the tillTill, receipt and pickup for a multi-stand event, with the thermal printer driven straight from the browser: no driver to install on every station, no third-party software. The proof The thermal printer is driven in its native protocol straight from the browser, two-dimensional barcodes included, with automatic reconnection: it was written for a real festival, not adapted from a generic product. The system has not been through a real event yet: the target date is in the future. Until that happens I cannot tell you it held up under a real load, and at an event the date does not move. |

| The academy you already haveNot two classroom days that get forgotten, but a ten-week internal path assembled from material already written and already paid for: modules, readings, labs on real tools. The proof The material already exists: 1,419 articles in two languages organised into about 167 series, 588 developer tools and 95 business tools. The production cost has already been paid, which is why the path costs less than building it from scratch. This method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

| Bilingual without lyingThe product is multilingual but half the translated strings do not exist, and nobody notices until a client sees English in the middle of Italian. You measure it, close the gap and put in a check that prevents it happening again. The proof This site keeps 26,213 translation units under a parity check that blocks the build, and has already been through the hard part: removing sixteen languages from production without losing the indexing. This method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

| Research a reviewer cannot pick apartA study with a number of your own, built to survive someone trying to take it apart: method stated first, publishable data, limitations written by the author instead of found by the critic. The proof The method I apply always states two numbers: the one anyone can reproduce and the production one that cannot be verified from outside. That is the rule that makes a study hard to pick apart, and it is already applied to a public benchmark. This method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

| From the script to the storeYou have a step your users do by hand in the browser. It becomes an extension published on the stores, with permissions cut to the minimum and the store listings already written. The proof Fifty-two extensions already packaged, with builds for the main browsers, screenshots, listings in two languages and the permission justification already written: the boring part is done. None of those extensions has been approved on a store yet: the packages are ready, the approvals are not. If your priority is «someone who has already been through review», today that is not me. |

| Performance with a receiptYou added advertising and the site got slow, but removing the advertising is not an option. Response times are recovered without giving up the revenue, and a check goes in that prevents the regression. The proof From 59 to 88 on mobile with four intervention patterns, the anti-pattern that had caused the problem and the measured effect of each one: the whole path is publicly deposited with a permanent identifier. Open it and checkThis method was born on my own system, not on a client's. I give you the system, the numbers and what you can verify yourself before paying me. |

What makes the price of a project vary
These are the factors that move a quote the most. I put them in writing so you can form an idea before talking to me, not after.
| Factor | Why it matters | Impact on price |
|---|---|---|
| Number of roles and permissions | An application with a single type of user and one with eight roles, each with its own permissions, are not the same job: every role adds screens, rules and cases to test. | High |
| Integrations with external systems | Every system you connect to (ERP, accounting, payments, couriers) brings its own documentation, its own limits and its own failures to handle. | High |
| Publishing on two stores | App Store and Google Play have separate accounts, signing, reviews and approval times: publishing on both is work in its own right, separate from development. | Medium |
| AI model and inference hardware | Running the model in-house means sizing the hardware, measuring latency and defining what must happen when the model does not answer. | High |
| Migration of existing data | Bringing in years of spreadsheets and old-software archives takes cleaning, reconciliation and spot checks: it is rarely a single import. | Medium |
| Hardware and on-site presence | When the system talks to printers, scanners or kiosks, and when the date cannot be moved, you need tests on real devices and someone physically there on the day: those are hours, and they have to be priced. | High |
| Level of accessibility required | WCAG AA conformance is my starting point. If a formal statement or a third-party audit is needed, checks and documentation are added. | Medium |
| Number of interface languages | Every extra language is a copy of the texts to keep aligned over time, not just a one-off translation. | Low |
| Training and support for the team | Handing over the code and handing it to a team that then maintains it alone are two different things: the second one adds sessions and documentation. | Low |
