Suggerimenti
- Use a speed of 1.2-1.5x for long document listening while maintaining good comprehension.
- Adjust tone to achieve a more natural voice, especially with system-generated voices.
- If a voice doesn't sound good, try others available in the list: quality varies greatly among system voices.
Domande frequenti
Is the text I enter sent to a server?
No. The tool uses the native browser's Web Speech API: text is processed locally by your device's speech synthesizer engine, without any external server transmission.
Why don't I see any available voice or is the list empty?
Voices are provided by the operating system and browser and may take a few seconds to load. If they remain empty, try reloading the page or check if your browser supports the Web Speech Synthesis API (Chrome, Edge, Safari).
Can I download the generated audio as an MP3 or WAV file?
No, the tool reproduces live audio in real-time in the browser via the Web Speech API and does not generate downloadable audio files.
Does the tool work in Italian?
Be concise — keep similar length. If your system has Italian voices installed, the tool will automatically detect and select the first voice with language "it" available in the list.
Is there a character limit for text I can read?
There is no limit set by the tool, but long texts depend on the capabilities of your speech synthesis engine's browser motor: for extended documents it's convenient to divide them into sections.
