Suggerimenti

  • Use continuous mode for long transcriptions and review/edit the text before downloading.
  • Change language before starting a new recording: it's not possible to modify it while recognition is active.

Domande frequenti

Which browsers support this tool?

The tool requires the Web Speech Recognition API, available on Chrome, Edge, and Safari; if the browser does not support it, a "Not supported" banner is shown and controls are disabled.

What does continuous mode do?

When active, vocal recognition does not automatically pause after a spoken pause - it must be manually stopped with the "Stop" button.

Is my audio being sent to an external server?

The processing occurs through the native voice recognition API of the browser: this tool does not record nor sends audio files to its own servers.

Can I correct the transcription after recording?

Yes, the final transcription text area is directly editable before copying or downloading as a .txt file.

Why am I getting an error "Microphone access denied"?

Browser requires microphone access permission for the site: if permission is denied or revoked in settings, the tool displays this error and cannot start recording.
