Robots & Indexability
One verdict: indexable or blocked?
chromeedgebraveoperafirefox🔒 Zero telemetryVersion 1.0.0
Description
Cross-checks robots.txt, meta robots, the X-Robots-Tag header and sitemap.xml presence to give you one clear verdict on whether the current page is indexable. It reads meta directives from the rendered DOM (SPA-friendly), fetches robots.txt and sitemap.xml from the tab's origin and evaluates crawling with Googlebot's longest-match algorithm. No telemetry, all local.
Features
- Single 'indexable / blocked' verdict with detailed reasons
- robots.txt parsing with * and $ wildcards, longest-match and Allow>Disallow ties
- Reads meta robots and meta googlebot from the rendered DOM (SPA-friendly)
- Detects the noindex directive in the X-Robots-Tag header
- Checks whether the current URL appears in the host's sitemap.xml
- Flags the noindex + Disallow conflict (crawler can't see the noindex)
- 100% offline and privacy-first, zero telemetry
