CF Explainer on-prem

Description

Select an Italian tax code (codice fiscale) on any page, right-click and choose "Decode tax code (on-prem)": CF Explainer FIRST validates length, format and control character locally — so a malformed code never leaves your browser — then instantly derives day, month, year of birth and sex straight from the code. For the place of birth it queries the /ai/cf-explainer endpoint on federicocalo.dev's on-prem AI backend. The tax code is personal data and is processed exclusively on the on-prem infrastructure (local Ollama), never on third-party cloud services: zero data-leak, zero telemetry. If the service is offline, rate-limited or blocks the request via CORS, the extension still shows the local decode and degrades gracefully, never crashing.
