Add Flashcard

Insert front (question) and back (answer). The tag is optional to group cards by topic. You can also import a CSV with columns: front, back, tag.

Review overdue cards

In the "Review" tab, find cards to review today. Read the face, think of your answer, then discover the back and assign a score from 1 (missed) to 5 (perfect).

SM-2 Algorithm

The system automatically calculates the next review interval: low votes (1-2) reset to 1 day; high votes exponentially increase the interval.

Huberman Protocol

Maximize consolidation: Study in the morning window 2-4 hours after waking (peak alertness), don't exceed 3 reviews of the same card per day, sleep well after studying.

What is the SM-2 algorithm?

SuperMemo 2 calculates the optimal interval between reviews based on your performance. Every vote updates the Easiness Factor (EF, default 2.5) and the interval in days. Low scores reset the interval; high scores extend it exponentially up to months.

Where are my data saved?

Only in the local browser via IndexedDB. No data leaves the device. No account required. Deleting the browser's cache or using "Clear all data" will wipe everything.

What does the Huberman protocol mean for research?

Andrew Huberman (Stanford, episode #4, #189) suggests that the peak of alertness and cognitive plasticity occurs 2-4 hours after waking up. Studying during this window improves learning. Sleep after class consolidates synapses (memory reconsolidation).

CSV format for importation?

Line for card: front, back, tag (tag optional). Example: "What's HTTP? Hypertext transfer protocol, networks". Suggested brackets around fields with commas.

How do votes 1-5 work?

Score - forget it (erase), 2 - wrong answer but I remembered (erase), 3 - correct but hard (interval +), 4 - correct with hesitation (interval ++), 5 - perfect (interval +++). Scores 1-2 increase laps count.
