Images uploaded are processed in memory and are never stored on any server.. The file is converted to base64 format on your device, sent for analysis and immediately discarded. No image will be saved, indexed or transmitted to third parties.

- The criterion E (Evolution) cannot be assessed from a single photo.
- Low quality, blurry or poorly lit photos may produce unreliable results.
- The tool does not have clinical context (medical history, patient history).
- It is not possible to compare multiple photos over time with this version.
- The sensitivity and specificity of the model have not been clinically validated.

Receive a flag (Low/Medium/High/Unreliable) for each of the 5 criteria ABCDE (Asymmetry, Borders, Color, Diameter, Evolution) and a general recommendation on monitoring or dermatological consultation.

Criterion E is not assessable from a single photo and must be monitored over time.
Are photos uploaded being saved on a server?
No images are stored or sent to third parties; they are processed in memory and immediately deleted after analysis.
What happens if our AI analysis service is not available?
If the artificial vision model (on-prem via Ollama) is not available, the tool shows a service degradation warning and the flags are considered even less reliable: in any case, it's always recommended to consult a dermatologist regardless of the displayed output.
What do the recommendations "monitoring", "routine consultation", and "urgent consultation" mean?
There are 3 levels of recommendation generated based on ABCDE flags detected: "Continue monitoring" indicates mostly low flags, "Routine skin visit recommended" (routine consultation) indicates some medium flags, and "Recommended skin visit" (timely consultation) indicates high flags. In all cases, the recommendation does not replace a dermatologist's evaluation.
