How does the calculator's love algorithm work?
The algorithm converts all characters of both names to numerical values (ASCII codes), sums them together, and calculates the modulus 100, adding 1 to get a score from 1 to 100. It is deterministic: the same names always produce the same result.
Is the result really reliable?
No, absolutely! The love calculator is a purely entertaining tool. Its algorithm is based on mathematical operations on character names and has no scientific or psychological basis. True relationships depend on far more profound factors than numerical calculations.
Does order of names affect the result?
No: the two names are concatenated and all characters summed together, so "Marco and Sara" produces the same result as "Sara and Marco". The only difference is the concatenation of strings, but the final sum is identical.
Can I use names in different languages?
Yes, the calculator accepts any text, including names with accents, special characters, or non-Latin letters. Each character contributes to the score according to its Unicode value.
