How precise is my IP location?
Accuracy varies by level: country (~99%), region (~80%), city (~50-70%). Corporate IPs and VPNs may show the ISP's legal address instead of the user's actual location. Location is based on updated databases periodically, not real-time like GPS.
What do mobile flags, proxies, and hosting mean?
Flag "mobile" indicates cellular network connections (4G/5G). "Proxy" signals known IP addresses for proxy, VPN or Tor exit nodes - often used to mask real location. "Hosting" indicates datacenters and cloud services (AWS, Google, Cloudflare etc.), useful for filtering bots and crawlers.
