The values are estimates based on WLTP data under normal conditions (20°C, 120 mph). The actual range varies by plus/minus 25% for temperature, driving style and traffic. For precise planning use the ABRP or Google Maps electric vehicle modes.

Come utilizzare

Seleziona veicolo

Scegli il tuo modello EV tra i 15 modelli EU più diffusi. Ogni veicolo include dati reali di batteria, consumo WLTP e potenza massima DC.

Imposta partenza e arrivo

Scegli la città di partenza e destinazione tra 30 città EU in 6 paesi (IT, DE, FR, ES, AT, CH). Le distanze sono pre-calcolate su percorso autostradale tipico.

Scegli preferenza ricarica

DC Fast (50-250 kW, ~45 min per stop) o AC Slow (22 kW, ~4h). DC fast è preferito su Ionity/Tesla Supercharger. Slow su EnelX/EV-Box.

Analizza il risultato

Ottieni numero di stop, durata totale, costo stimato e operatori consigliati. Il calcolo applica SoC minimo 10% e target ricarica 80%.

Domande frequenti

How is the number of stops calculated?

The planner calculates the required energy based on distance and WLTP vehicle consumption. If the estimated state of charge upon arrival drops below 10%, adds charging stops up to 80% SoC each. Greedy algorithm, no live API.

Why are distances approximated?

To keep the tool completely client-side and free, we use a pre-computed distance matrix on typical highway routes (no detours, tolls, side roads). For precise routing, recommend ABRP or Google Maps.

What's the difference between DC Fast and AC Slow?

DC Fast (CCS/CHAdeMO, 50-350 kW): stops ~45 min, cost ~$0.50/kWh, operators Ionity and Tesla Supercharger. AC Slow (Type 2, 11-22 kW): stops ~4h, cost ~$0.30/kWh, operators EnelX and EV-Box. Always prefer DC Fast for long trips.

Why is actual consumption different?

Data is measured under standard conditions. Winter (-10°C) range can decrease by 20-25%. Highway driving at 130 km/h increases fuel consumption by 20-30% compared to the mixed WLTP cycle. The tool does not apply seasonal corrections or speed adjustments.

Which operators are included?

Charging networks - Ionity (pan-European premium DC), Tesla Supercharger (only native Tesla vehicles + CCS adapter), EnelX (formerly Enel X Way, strong in Italy and Southern EU), EV-Box (Netherlands and Germany). "Generic" indicates third-party local connectors.
