Step 1 - Company Information
Come utilizzare Board Deck Generator
Step 1 - Company Information
Insert company name, industry, stage (Pre-Seed to Growth), year of founding, team size, country and language of the deck.
Step 2 - Quarterly Financial Data
Fill in the available fields (MRR, ARR, MoM growth, burn rate, runway, gross margin, LTV, CAC): all optional, but more data provides a complete deck.
Step 3 - Narrative (wins, problems, questions)
Write key results, updates produced, open issues, board requests, and quarterly objectives in bullet points. The AI (or template) will structure these notes into slides.
Step 4 - Review and Export Deck
Check the 12 generated slides (executive summary, KPI, financials, wins, issues, asks, Q&A), then copy the markdown to paste it into your preferred editor like Notion, Google Docs.

- Fill in section Asks (Step 3) always: it's the most concrete slide to get practical help from the board (introduction, hiring, consulting).
- Even with limited financial data, the deck is generated: start with MRR/ARR and narrative, then enrich in subsequent versions.
- Use export markdown as a base of work, then transfer key content to a presentation tool (Google Slides, Pitch, Notion) for the final presentation.

Are my financial data saved or sent to third parties?
Company data is not stored on the server-side: only Ollama on-prem (lama3.1:8b) AI is used, run on the author's infrastructure without any external cloud provider (no OpenAI/Anthropic/Cloudflare AI). Input is temporarily saved locally in your browser for convenience and can be deleted with "New Deck".
What happens if AI Ollama is not available?
The tool undergoes controlled degradation (graceful degradation): it still generates a complete deck using a deterministic YC-style template based on the input data, without generating AI narrative text. The deck remains complete and usable, with a warning indicating template usage.
What does "YC-style" mean?
Structure of the 12 slides (cover, agenda, KPI, financials, wins, issues, asks, next quarter, risks, Q&A) follows Y Combinator Startup School best practices for board meetings, a standard and recognized format among investors and founders to efficiently communicate company state.
Can I use this generated deck as is for my next board meeting?
Don't share output (AI or template) without reviewing it first and sharing with the board. It's not a substitute for professional legal or financial advice, and numbers/narratives need to be verified for accuracy before presenting officially.
