Affiliate & Sponsorship Disclosure

1. What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link to a third party's product or service for which Federico Calò may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking it. The commission comes at no extra cost to you: the price you pay is exactly the same price you would pay by visiting the seller's site directly.
2. Sponsored content
Sponsorship placements (banners) are self-hosted, meaning they are served directly from federicocalo.dev: no third-party ad network loads scripts or tracks visitors. Every sponsored placement is always visibly labelled "Sponsored content" — never hidden in a tooltip or below the fold of the slot.
3. Editorial independence
No advertiser or affiliate partner determines the editorial content, technical opinions, or reviews published on this site. If an article, review, or technical comparison mentions an affiliate product, it is because it is relevant to the content — not because it was paid to be there.
4. How the disclosure chip works
Every affiliate link placed in an article is accompanied by a small inline "Affiliate link" label, always visible next to the link itself — never hidden, never in a hover-only tooltip. This label lets you immediately recognise an affiliate link from an ordinary editorial link.
