Description

Select an Italian tax code (codice fiscale) on any page, right-click and choose "Decode tax code": CF Explainer checks length, format and control character (homocode variants included) and derives day, month, year of birth, sex and municipality of birth from the cadastral-code table bundled with the extension, including suppressed and merged municipalities and current foreign states. The tax code carries the year with two digits only: when the century cannot be determined it shows both readings instead of picking one; if the cadastral code is not in the table it says so. Everything happens in the browser: the tax code is sent to no one and the extension makes no network request. No telemetry.
